1 RMB paper anti-counterfeiting

Banknote paper usually has lines, or the paper surface is coated with plastic paint or calendering. 1) watermark

RMB adopts watermark paper. The watermark is made by prefabricating molds and changing the fiber density of pulp in the same grade of experimental machine in the production process. It has been made and shaped in the papermaking process, rather than being embossed or printed on the surface of banknotes. Therefore, the watermark patterns have a strong sense of three-dimensional and hierarchical, while the paper surface remains flat and smooth. Today, with the development of science and technology, watermark is still recognized as an effective anti-counterfeiting technology by anti-counterfeiting experts all over the world, and continues to be adopted and developed by all countries. Banknotes, important international documents, facility drawings and various tickets in most countries are printed on watermark paper. China has been using watermarks since the fourth set of RMB. The safety wire is a first-line anti-counterfeiting technology with good reliability, exclusivity and easy identification. Its most prominent feature is that it can be used in combination with a variety of anti-counterfeiting features. The fracture of the sample is always broken on both sides, which greatly improves the anti-counterfeiting performance. The security line plays a very important role in the current banknote anti-counterfeiting. There are two ways to embed the safety wire in the banknote paper. One is to completely bury it in the middle of the paper; The other is embedded in the paper at intervals and partially exposed on the surface of the paper, which is called windowed safety line. In the fifth set of RMB, these two methods are fully utilized. 100 yuan and 50 yuan adopt the fully embedded magnetic micro text safety line, and the safety line in the Yingguang perspective banknote. The micro text of RMB100 or RMB50 can be seen, and the instrument detects magnetism; 20 yuan is a magnetic safety wire with alternating light and dark; 10 yuan uses a magnetic safety line with windowed holographic characters. 3) fibers

2 RMB ink anti-counterfeiting

ink is the main medium of printing, and the ink color is used to reflect technology and quality. In most countries, the ink color of banknotes is bright but not thick, the lines of patterns are thin, the ink layer is thin, it is really bright and clean, the affinity between ink and paper is good, and the ink tone is coordinated. Anti counterfeiting ink is a special printing ink made by adding special anti-counterfeiting materials into the ink binder and processing with special processes. Ink anti-counterfeiting has the advantages of simple implementation, low cost, good concealment, bright colors, convenient inspection and strong reproducibility. It is the preferred anti-counterfeiting technology for banknotes, tickets and trademarks in various countries. Banknote printing ink is specially developed. China's RMB uses a variety of anti-counterfeiting inks in the printing process

1) photochromic ink

photochromic ink is one of the most effective high-tech anti-counterfeiting inks today. The printing pattern has a brilliant metallic luster. Under natural light, with the change of human eye angle, it will show two or three different colors, and the color difference changes significantly, such as red green, green blue, red gold, etc. The pattern cannot be copied by high-definition scanner, color copier or other equipment, so it is highly anti-counterfeiting; And the light variable ink has the advantages of easy identification, good durability, simple use method, wide application range, non-toxic, non radiation and so on. It is a world recognized high anti-counterfeiting safety ink. The denomination numbers on the lower left side of the front of the fifth set of RMB 100 and 50 are printed with light variable ink. When viewed vertically from the face, 100 is green, 50 is gold, and when tilted at a certain angle, they become blue and green respectively

2) fluorescent ink

fluorescent ink is a special ink that can emit visible light (wavelength 400 ~ 800 m) under ultraviolet light (wavelength 200 ~ 400 m). According to whether the printing ink has color, it can be divided into colored fluorescent ink and colorless fluorescent ink. The former is to add fluorescent compounds to colored inks, and the latter is to add colorless inks. The pictures and texts printed by the former are visible to the naked eye, while the latter are invisible. In the fifth set of RMB, colored fluorescent ink and colorless fluorescent ink are used to print patterns. For example, the red lines in the oval pattern above the main scene on the back of 100 yuan adopt colored fluorescent ink, which shows a bright orange red under ultraviolet light of a specific wavelength; The middle of the 20 yuan back shows a green fluorescent pattern under UV light of a specific wavelength; At 100 yuan and 20 yuan, the words 100 and 20 can be seen under the UV light of a specific wavelength at the offset shading below the front line name.
